How To Lose Weight With Aerobic And Cardio Exercises And Improve Your Health And Fitness

The time is now! Get started and change your life! Lose weight by eating better and exercising regularly. You don’t have to starve yourself or run a marathon to improve your well being or maintain weight loss. In fact throw the scales away as they just cloud your judgement. Muscle weighs heavier than fat, so you can lose the inches but your weight may not change a great deal. Relying on scales is more likely to have a negative effect as you are tempted to not eat properly or over exercise if you cannot see substantial short term weight loss.

The current state of your body will obviously determine what you need to do or are what you are capable of doing. If you are well overweight you must start gently. Obviously you must try to follow a more balanced diet. Eat smaller portions more often rather than “pigging out”. Reduce foods that are high in fat or sugar such as biscuits, chocolate, Pastries etc. Make sure that you get plenty fruit and vegetables and cut down on alcohol. You can eat far more of the correct foods to “fill you up”, which will be much better in your attempts to lose weight and at the same time get the proper nutrients to your body which help it run smoothly.

Being Consistent With Aerobic Exercise

You must participate in aerobic activity (walking, jogging, stair master, aerobics classes, etc) for at least thirty minutes a day, five days a week- EVERY WEEK! It is simple; to lose weight you must burn calories.

Thirty five hundred calories equals one pound so if you want to lose a pound per week you’ve got to burn thirty five hundred calories minimum. In other words let’s say in order to maintain your current weight you eat 2000 calories per day and you need to burn thirty five hundred calories weekly to lose one pound per week.

Further, you’re only able to able to exercise aerobically three times per week, you would need to burn approximately 1166 calories per session.

If you are exercising aerobically five times per week then you would need to burn 700 calories per session. Your Fitness Coach can take the guess work out of this process and put you on the path to success. You may want to ask your coach about VO2 testing to help you figure out exactly how much aerobic activity you need to do in order to accomplish your goals.
